According to Laurel she was very aloof and uninterested in the world around her, even as a child. She was kind of rude to everyone, and when she got older she turned downright hostile. This was most likely an attempt to hide her depression and trauma.
Not a lot is known about her motivations in her life before her downward spiral but her death was motivated by utter despair and rage.
