Overview
Phantom
The Immortal in the Woods
Spirit of the Liraz Woods
Non-binary, they/them.
In the thousands. They lost count. Their body appears to be in the early 20s.
Looks
132 lbs.
5'5"
Black.
Long, to their waist, slightly wavy. One half of it pulled back into a sort of floppy bun. They have two braids that go along the side of their head and join with the bun, then fall down their back. These braids are usually woven with small white and gold flowers.
None.
Used to be dark green, but now it's a pale green that makes them look like they're blind.
Used to be human, but now they're a bit of a half-nature, half-human person.
Pale olive, with golden undertones.
Lean and strong.
Milky white eyes, a white veil over their head.
They usually have a white veil over their head when there's even the slightest chance that someone is going to see them. It is almost completely opaque and falls around their shoulders perfectly. When they're just wandering around the woods, they have on simple linen breeches, a white undershirt, and a knee-length tunic in various foresty colors, and bare feet. When there's a chance they might meet people, they add a flowing yet fitting robe in white, light green, and gold.
Sharp angles, straight nose, oval face.
Milky white eyes, scars all over their face and body.
Nature
They're very floaty and graceful. Their way of organizing is chaos to everyone else but them.
To simply garden in peace and not have people bother them.
They're a little too casual about murder and are way too protective of their forest.
They think that people who trespass in their woods are idiots.
They are very talented with a sword, and they have a very green thumb. Their animal handling skills are also good. They can also cook very well.
They enjoy gardening and going for walks around their forest. They also enjoy singing and whistling.
They are very calm and gentle and generally unbothered with anything. They are kind unless you are trespassing, and then they are very cruel. And yet their cruelty is soft, too.
Celestial Touch. They are cursed to have a few days of pure pain where all of their scars open up again and bleed everywhere. During this time, they are fully mortal, fully killable, and aren't able to use magic. This is the price they pay for their power and their immortality.
Aromantic, but they don't subscribe to labels.
They are not nearly as strong when they're not in their forest as when they are. Their immortality is also not as strong when they're not in the woods.

History
They don't remember.
Not a lot. They know how to read and write, but no math. They mostly learned how to grow food, fight with a sword, and survive.
They grew up in a village in the forest, back when it wasn't their forest. Their childhood was full of woodland adventures and general bliss. When they got to be a teenager, the people started expanding the village. The forest was not happy with that and started to eat people, so everyone decided that they should get the heck out of there. Phantom-- though that was not their name back then-- didn't really want to leave, but ended up having to go. Unfortunately, the forest didn't want to let them go after they'd destroyed it, so it ate most of them, too. It didn't eat Phantom, however, because they had always treated the forest with respect and love. The forest basically adopted them. Phantom was sad, at first, because all their family and friends were dead, but they had also never really connected with humans as much as they had with the forest, so it was chill. They learned how to take care of the forest, garden, grow their own food, and navigate the forest. As they grew older, the forest started to affect them. They sort of stopped aging in their early twenties, though which twenty is unknown. After a few years, people started to go through the woods again. Phantom wasn't as territorial as they grow to be, so they just let them go. They also weren't as good as hiding, so someone saw them. These people were kind of creeped out by the random person in the woods and decided to go confront them. Phantom was not for that and tried to get out of there, but they weren't as good as they got to be and got caught. The people were generally mean and called them a creepy monster and other, stronger names, and also attacked them, cutting theie face to make them look like the monster the people thought them to be. The people left them to bleed out, but they managed not to die. The years flew by, and they got more and more talented at hiding and being stealthy. They also started to absorb the forest's powers and make them their own. The mists start to appear, and their eyes start going white as if the mist is inside them now. They haven't figure out how to shape-shift, so they use the mists to create a veil so people can't see their face. Their attitude towards other people got worse and worse until they couldn't stand people even walking through their forest. Soon, anyone who walked through their forest would get killed, their bodies and blood turned into compost for new and existing trees and other plants. After a few years of disappearances, people learned not to use the path through their woods, and they became sort of dorment, just drifting through the woods, caring for them, and growing new plants to eat.
Family
Too many ravens.
Abilities
They are more graceful and can defy gravity/physics a bit. They're a bit stronger too.
