Overview
The Narrator
A narrator is supposed to be a guide for the reader in the situation they throw themselves into. This Narrator, however, serves as a guide for the characters themselves. It's kind of funny, and by funny I mean not particularly amusing but just fun to think about.

Looks
Usually weightless but can mimic any form so could be any weight

When in the natural state the eyes are gray
Narrator. Hah. Basically exists on own.
In natural state --> gray.
Slim but not to the point of gangly. Depends on the person looking at the figure.
Everything is gray! (Unless not in normal form)
Nature
They are secretive, almost to the point of shy. If they speak loudly it's probably because they are adapting the storyline, characters, or such. Usually speaks whispering, but not many people claim to hear what they say.
Commands from the Author, although they seem to contrast with what the Narrator truly wants.
Too secretive, sometimes even to the point of counterproductivity.

Controls all variables and constants of the world through speech.

Always forced to do whatever the hidden voice of the Author commands them to do, which is sometimes somewhat agonizing. They are NOT omniscient--although all the characters of the story seem to think they are, and are not fully omnipotent either, just omnipotent in their own reality/story.

They could be considered a religion, but they aren't really religious.
