Control depends on how out of control the growth gets, but the most commonly used and effective control is burning off growths until the condition is cured or all host cells are killed. This condition occurs when flesh magic is used to curse or when a flesh magic user loses control

Fleshy growths on or in various parts of the body that increase in size faster than cancer

Usually depends on where the growths are but commonly puts a lot of stress on the mind of the afflicted when not directly damaging it

Cancerous growths that grow faster than natural cancer appear on or in various parts of the body, speed of growths vary

Permanent unless condition is cured or all afflicted cells are destroyed/killed

If not cured quickly, the condition can become deadly to the afflicted and those around them. The condition can persist even if the original nervous system dies as long as there are living cells to reproduce, which leads to the declaration of the afflicted's death and a flesh beast's birth. If not cured, the outcome for the afflicted is death, unless their nervous system expands into the flesh beast, in which case they are the flesh beast and everyone is unhappy.
