Overview
Setrius Divide
The Chaotic Divide, Continent of Chaos, The Yokai Playground
The Setrius Divide gets its name from being the "middle sibling"; these are literally the middle lands separating Leviathia from Neberos. It is separated from Neberos by oceans of magma and divided from Leviathia by crystal clear waters; it borders both divisions with a barrier of jagged, molten rock, protecting its lands from the destruction bordering Neberos, but at the same time, denying the nutrition from Leviathia's rich waters. However, the lands of the Setrius Divide are savage, untamable, and are constantly ravaged by war.
Ruled by the Mother Spirit whose nefarious for her unfathomable levels of lunacy, this continent is the land that is raptured by consistent chaos. It's inhabitants are anything but civilized. These lands are ruled by all neutral, chaotic creatures, where blood and fire rule. It is the home of the Spine of Draconis - a line of 34 active volcanoes, 15 of which are home to lava dragons and fire dragons clans - which lie to the east, near the sloped shores where the beaches have black sand. The sloped shores near the Spine of Draconis are the result of several eruptions, where lava hardened in the waters, extending the shoreline.
Geography
Most of the land consists of soil, which is often drier towards the center, but more fertile around water sources. Plant life is scarce in rocky areas, less common in the dry soil, and lush in grassy fields. During the dry season, grassy areas are often dried up and experience fires. Setrius is like a giant desert as far as climate goes. Temperatures can reach 132 degrees farenheight in the summer, and -69 degrees in the winter generally. They'll be hotter and colder in rocky areas, always hot year-round in the lava pits, cooler in grassy areas, etc. Water temperature varies with depth.
The Dragonspine mountains are a range of dangerous peaks that bisect the southwest region of the Neutral Astral Fields from the northeast. In spite of this, they provide many valuable raw resources that entice entrepreneurs that are attempting to carve out new pieces of civilization from the wild places. Though far from being the largest mountain range in Alusterial, the Dragonspines are rugged and often bitterly cold throughout the year. The western slopes of the Dragonspine mountains are home to the infamous Citadel of the Raven. Red and white dragons are known to lair in the higher peaks. Goblins, orcs and giants fill the lower areas and valleys.
Setrius Divide is no longer completely wild. The lava pits once known for their heat have cooled dramatically thanks to the lack of a sun, and the cooling of the volcanic pockets in the land. There are now indoctrination schools, massive walls, security everywhere, forced schedules, curfews, breeding programs, and those that resists either run out to the little wild left or disappear in a system of slavery, torture camps and work prisons established by an iron order with the motto being, "Fuck Sego".
