History
Melellante was originally a region cut by the Tsiana and Ashran kingdoms. Following the sinking of Leos in 434 AI, Melellante agreed to take on 1/3 of the refugees bound for each kingdom, in exchange for its independence. Following 442 AI and the declaration of war between Tsiana and Ashra, it agreed to remain a neutral territory for refugees.
