Pterosaur

Grey-brown to beige, males have colorful blue and red markings.

Almost bird-like, but with no feathers. Four large, broad wings make up the majority of their silhouette.

Wingspan of roughly 6-8 meters.

All four of the limbs on a gushiznye resemble wings. Digits on the toes and fingers are elongated and webbed by leathery skin. The larger front wings are used to keep it airborne, while the back ones are for control and stability.
A long beak-like snout, filled with many small but sharp teeth is accentuated by the male's impressive crest.
Their eyes are large and powerful like a bird of prey's.
All gushiznye have a rudder like tail that increases maneuverability.

They tend to be passive and skittish unless it's breeding season or their nest is threatened.

Gushiznye swoop down and scoop their prey into their jaws.

To defend itself, it may bat with its snout or bite, although if it appears to be losing the battle, it'll simple attempt to escape.

Not incredibly fast, but decently so. Mostly geared towards endurance and prolonged flight.

Very maneuverable and can stay airborne for a long time. Can spot prey or danger from far away.

Weak when it comes to battle.

Bird like calls, but raspier. Males sing songs during mating season.

They tend to either travel in mating pairs or family groups of around 6-8.

The breeding seasons lasts from spring through to the end of summer. The female lays a clutch of around 4 soft-shelled eggs.
