Grey with a greenish glint
Birdlike, but instead of a beak, they have a large shark-like mouth, but with four longer canines like a wolf or cat.
10' long, 30' wingspan
Massive wingspan so they can carry creatures that they kill in midair
Sleek almost oily feathers
Traits
Pacifistic unless hungry, opportunistic, lazy
Sneak attacks from above, uses weight to stun prey. Latches on with powerful talons and drags prey down to crash into islands below, or until a killing blow can be landed.
Very powerful and skilled flyers
Very fast pinpoint dive, otherwise mostly glides
Pinpoint infrared eyesight and owl-like hearing. Deeper variations have primitive bat-like sonar.
Eyes are on the underside of it's body (on it's chin) meaning it never looks above itself
A scream very similar to that of a human male
Strong, large feathers, teeth, light-weight but strong bones
Habitat
Literally anywhere it can find food and make a nest on an island
Mostly tannies, Avians if it can catch them, and deep-creatures
Does not migrate
Territorial and will fight other Teeth on sight

Mating season in summer's end, leading to births at winter's end, mating habits similar to that of tigers
