Males have multiple neon colors on the outside of the wings, different patterns for each bird. Females are all dull, brown colors with tips of a bright color, typically red, at the ends of their wings. The females also sport various sizes of white spots.
A triangular body and an oval shaped head.
Very large, wingspan of 10-13 feet, mass of about 15 pounds, length of 5-7 feet.
