Sickle Horn
The Sickle horn is a hooved herbivore that lives in large herds on the Spread. They have split hooves and single horn that sweeps backwards.
They are a keystone species of the Spread.
A grazing ungulate herbivore. Engineered from antelope stock.
Looks
They normally have tawny colored short fur. One in ten thousand expresses a recessive trait for grey-blue fur.
Four long slender powerful legs. Short tail.
Four feet high at the shoulders.
The males and females both have a single back-swept spiral horn. The males is larger than the female.
Traits
Non-aggressive unless engaging in challenges with other males.
Ramming with horn or kicking with hooves.
Very fast running. Herd safety. Horns.
Up to 50 mph in short bursts.
