Overview
Celestial Animals
A species similar to those on Earth, except they appeared to be more glorified than their Earthy kin. These species could be found throughout space, and some could even be kept as pets. However, due to the gems colonizing planets and showing no regard to the wildlife there, most of these creatures have died off. They were believed to be completely extinct, causing gems to attempt to recreate these species. Their attempts failed, and most of the experiments were discarded. It wasn't until Era 3, where Bandit was revealed to be a Celestial Animal. As of now, some gems believe there are still a few out there and are trying to discover and reintroduce them back to space.

Looks
These animals varied in color, although common colors were cool colors such as purple or blue. Warm colors were possible too, although they were more of the uncommon types due to genetics. The rarest colors were natural colors, and the genes for it weren't even possible unless a lucky mutation happened.
Celestial animals varied in shapes, from four-legged creatures to those with wings and beaks. Similar to Earth, the Celestial Animals were sorted into Tetrad (Four-legged animals), Aileron (Winged animals), Lamina (Scaled animals), Hyla (Aquatic animals), and Vermin (Bug-like animals). No matter the shape, each animal had at least a flowing gas material referred to as its "Base(temporary name)" The Base was essential in reproduction and survival.
Depending on their class, some Celestial animals were as giant as a giant meteoroid, while others were no more than a speck of dust. The same species had similar sizes. The only exception to this rule were hybrids (a rare phenomenon).
Depending on their class, some Celestial animals were taller than Earth's trees, while others barely reached an inch. The same species had similar heights. The only exception to this rule was hybrids (a rare phenomenon).
Depending on their class, some Celestial animals were as heavy as a dozen elephants while others were too light to even be measured. The same species had similar weights. The only exception to this rule was hybrids (a rare phenomenon).
Celestial Animals were widely known for their flowing tails since their gradients were breath-taking. Some gems even kept Celestial Animals as pets, although they never lived for long since Celestial Animals were meant to live out and in the wild.
Depending on the species, some animals didn't require dewclaws. The only vestigial feature that was dominant in all Celestial Animals was their starscape pattern. No matter how many times gems tried to breed it out, it seemed as if it were a dominant gene and there wasn't a way to get rid of it unless a mutation happened.
All Celestial Animals were made from light. Using this light their Base created mass for the animals to exist. Touching a Celestial Animal could be described as touching slightly cool air, although an expectation to this were Celestial Animals that had absorbed
