Overview
The Goddess of Ruin
Rioghain is everywhere. You need only look for her machinations in misfortunate events. She thrives on chaos and mischief, working in ambiguity and inconsistency. She gives her gift of her affinity to all, but the most to the creatures she prefers, thinking them as her worldly servants. They can be found anywhere in Inspera, but find themselves welcomed most freely in Findius, where their warlike culture is commonly attributed to Rioghain’s influence. She values not only the chaos of war but the malevolent roguery of half-truths and morbid curiosities. She is the firstborn of all the gods and goddesses, preceding the other affinities and granting her own affinity the accumulation of all that followed. It’s in this way that the followers of Rioghain find themselves blending into any affinity or locale with their “chameleon” like tendencies. Those who exhibit deep insecurities, commitment issues, excellent adaptability, immovable beliefs and morals, and a strong sense of self, have a tendency to follow Rioghain. She is viewed as the goddess of all things reprehensible and fiendish, garnering a distaste for her followers amongst the remaining population of Inspera.
The Goddess of Ruin has sown her affinity throughout Inspera, dotting her chaos anywhere in the kingdoms, from royalty to peasant, regardless of race, although apparently favoring elves the most. The majority of her followers can be found in Findius; their culture fostering traits and traditions that favor the Ruin affinity.
