Overview
Bas
God of death and disease
(He/Him)
Appearance
Bas is shown as a dark shadow that hovers behind Vitabeatha.
Family
Symbolism
Bones are a symbol of Bas
Powers
Bas can kill anything, including another God. Bas is, however, very passive and kind, perhaps the kindest of all the gods (arguably) so he does not do so. He will have to one day, as the end of the world will call on him to put the other deities to sleep, ending with his sister. He carries souls to the afterlife, gently, and he is very calming when doing so.
Rituals
People pray to Bas for curses on their enemies, which he never performs. People also pray to him to spare them from death, which he does not do if it is their time to die.
When people die, they are buried in the ground with nothing around them so they decay into the earth. It is believed that without this, the dead will not be able to be carried away by Bas.
Bas asks for no gifts or sacrifices, and ignores those that are given to him.
Bas interacts with people when he takes them to the afterlife
History
In the future, a prophecy states that the end of the world will come, and Bas will be the one to end each god one by one until finally, he must kill his sister. This will be done in mercy, as the other gods will be in pain. However, ironically, Bas cannot die and will be all that is left for eternity.
