Hazal is the ferryman of the dead and living. He leads the living back to their homes safe and sound and the dead back to their final resting place. He knows every path and route to take making him privy to all secrets the world tries to hide. Being associated with the sea people depict him as having control over the sea. When the storms clouds come over they think Hazal is warning them of the path and those who brazenly challenge his warnings find themselves soon to his side. The people of Isau worship Hazal for save travel as the sea is their domain and he brings them peace in the afterlife. Those cut from the older cloth such as thieves, assassins, and spies pray to Hazal for a quick and successful mission. While he is widely idolize he is nothing more then a collective belief of wanting a higher being to give them aid from ancient scriptures.
