Overview
Loodins Foot
A common mushroom found on Fothlaiwei 's Northern Swampwood.
-- Loodie Babies
-- Bangrokah's Bane
Appearance
Often ranging in tints of dark brown or red, with brick red outer ring/rims along the mushroom head itself.
Average sized range from being 5-18ft tall and 4-10ft wide with a thickness range of 6-20in thick.
Woodsy and pungent. Many similarities to wet, arboreal leaves and mulch.
Younger growth; sweet and aromatic.
Older growth; savory, thick, and almost having similarities to tasting like chicken.
Ecosystem
Often through spores that germinate and accumulate within their "bowls" that retain water which attract Loodins to drink from them. Often, Loodins will bathe and even nest near these giant mushrooms due to their fresh water source that lasts even throughout the Dry Seasons.
Once the Monsoon Season has passed, these bowls tend to dry out, which leaves the pollen to accumulate in dust-like particles. These particles are often picked up by other living organisms in passing.
Often seen during the monsoon seasons on Fothlaiwei given their high needs for humidity, moisture, and plant growth to feed upon.
