Espeith, The Witnesses
Not content with the controlled way in which the annals of each empire would twist not only the metaphorical arm, but also the leg of the facts, the scholars and archivists of Espeith decided to further their craft apart from the watchful eyes of their former masters.
Hierarchy
An autocratic circle, Espeith is ruled by a single High Scholar presiding over a council of Venerable Scholars.
A High Scholar is usually appointed after several decades or even centuries of highly distinguished service, coupled with a notable achievement in a particular field of archival or research.
Purpose
To independently witness and chronicle events across Aeru.
