The death of Faerizal shook the Eluthari- but especially the seers of Faerizal's Echo- like never before.

In some cosmic irony, the greater a seer's power to foretell the future of the world around him, the less he is able to see with precision and clarity his own; this is most clearly seen in the tragedy? Hubris? Of Faerizal.

As the tectonic plates have fault lines, so too does time. Every so often, things come to a head, and the universe seems to pause and hold its breath for a moment: certain events, layered upon each other in complex relationships beyond description, disrupt the finely-balanced flow that the seers create. The rise of Walker-Abberant is one; the death of Faerizal is another.

Mastery takes many different forms, and many a time the machinations of a seer in times past is delayed- never quite destroyed- by the hand of another in the future.

Of all the many fates Miura may see come to pass, Faerizal's Echo seeks the few in which the Eluthari reign as undisputed masters of the land.

Around 1 in every 10,000 Eluthari are deemed by seers as having enough potential to meaningfully exercise the 'Sight': the renowned prescient Eluthari intuition. Discerned by those on the Path of Fate, such Eluthari are taken, regardless of consent, to Lost Glade. Instruction then begins in earnest, leading to the first of many milestones: the Rites of the Paths.
