A medium sized restaurant in a neighborhood full of smaller joints.
An older building that shows its history, the white vinyl siding and neon sign has been replaced more times than most people would like to count. Never fully clean, it is kept mostly white instead of the dingy gray of other nearby buildings by constant scrubbing. The Carrion Crows keep their new recruits scrubbing the place every Monday at sunrise to ensure their favorite hangout stands out.
Homey is the best way to describe the joint, with Vic keeping a southern down home feel paired with a classic diner atmosphere. Which is a fancy way of saying, he has not changed the place's look since he bought it. He's only maintained it with a fair amount of cash influx from his more regular clientele.

Vic's Chicken and Waffles became Vic Carver
retirement plan once he left the Carrion Crows. A bullet in the kneecap left him with a permanent limp, but his time spent as the gang's vice president meant he could leave with their blessings. He still keeps a trio of crow feathers hanging above the cash register, not that they use that antique for anything more than its credstick reader.
So Vic Carver
opened the place with the understanding that Crows eat free, but few of them actually take Vic up on the offer out of respect. They keep trouble from occurring inside the walls and the lack of bloodshed inside of the establishment is nothing short of a point of pride.
For the last 9 years, Vic's Chicken and Waffles has been the place many come to find advice, favors, friends and the best fried chicken in Algiers. While its owner stays completely legal these days, no one chances their luck and tries to rob the place less he stray from his more pacifistic ways and dips into the old life he left behind.
