Overview
Kliphorian
English
This language is the "common language" of Kliphor. It has a striking resemblance to the language in which the story is being read. Meaning, if someone reads it in english, it resembles english, if someone is reading in japanese, it resembles japanese, so on and so forth with spanish, or german, or any language.
Info
This language strongly combines anchient languages as well as modern languages such as evlen. It is taught across all of Kliphor. The idea of having a uniting tongue was actually produced by some of the earliest Man settlers.
When man had entered Kliphor, they found few natives, and quickly discovered elves had arrived before them. Inable to communicate with the elves, and the elves unwilling to teach man their language, man created a language that united their language with elven, as well as native languages that of which the goblins and fae spoke, too.
This united language was quickly adopted by the majority of the contient due to how similar each felt it was to their native language. Any culture that at first refused it, were quickly persuaed into adopting it by various cultures. Eventually, all cultures agreed to simply have it taught reguarly, even if they rarely used it. The language barrier was seen as a foreseeable threat should they need to unite against ociramma.
The biggest influencer of Kliphorian is the dwarven language due to the dwarves stubborn nature and overall simplicity in writting.
