A guard village like Wycoy; however, since Valencia is so close to Fairy City, its purpose is more to keep Fairies in as opposed to keeping humans out.

History
Valencia was founded as a result of the Fairy War.
It was founded after the Fairy War when vulxin villages were established around Fairy City to serve as a buffer between the Fairies and humans. Valencia was founded by a division of Islander vulxin, specifically ones from the desert part of the Island. It is currently populated almost entirely by the descendants of the original Islanders, besides Reed's grandma and Alaka.
