Overview
1450 Gates Avenue, Toledo, Ohio
Home
This is the home of James, Jacob, and Amy McCoy. They lived here until James was kidnapped and killed. Each person had their own room, with Jacob sleeping in the attic. Hasn't seemed like home since Jacob' and Amy's mother passed away when Jacob was eight. Still a comfortable place, neighbors very close.
Culture
U.S. dollars
No matter the situation, always press forward.
The kids are not aloud in James' room. No staying out past 8:00 on weekdays, 9:00 on weekends. Each child has his/her fair share of chores, and Jacob has a job and has to pay for his extra expenses (e.g. extra books, clothes, movie tickets, etc.)
James thoroughly enjoyed watching the NBA. Jacob watches baseball and his room is full of baseball artifacts. Amy likes college lacrosse and has a bunch of gear for playing in the garage.

Geography
It's not a great location. It's in the projects of Toledo, but it is one of the safer neighborhoods. Good people live there mostly.
There is a small garden in the front yard. Jacob grows carrots and cabbages in it every year in remembrance of his mom. She used to grow these plants.
1320 Yates Street is located in the projects of Toledo. Not the worst area of the projects, but not the best.
No air conditioning or heater, so it is usually somewhat whatever temperature outside. There is a mini heater for winter, but it is only used at night. Every night a different person has it to keep them warm.
History
Jacob's grandfather bought it a few years before James was born. James inherited the house when his grandfather died. He didn't live there until after Jacob's mother died. He lost money and couldn't afford to live anywhere else.
The house was built in the '60s by developers that didn't care about the people that would live there.
Notes
This is the house the government came to and kidnapped James. Jacob and Amy leave the house in chapter 3. I'm hoping to bring the house back into the story soon. Maybe, maybe not.
