- This area was claimed by the Sunpelts in the aftermath of the Farsea War. The battle's survivors fled to what was then, unclaimed wildlands.
- While there haven't been any notable battles at the Suntouched, there are running tensions between Sunpelts and wandering merchant Whirlpelts.
