Geography
The area around Misit Lake is phenomenal for farming due to its unique ecosystem. As an endorheic lake, it collects sediment and minerals without being able to deposit them into the ocean. In the spring the lake swells and floods into the surrounding area, creating a temporary wetland and fertilizing the soil with these minerals.
Because of this, a unique plant called misit grows there that relies on this process. It's cultivated by local farmers and its fruit is a large export for Falka.
Along with misit, potatoes and carrots are easily grown in the fertilized soils.
