Fallen Banks River
Connecting to the The Crystal Sky, running down through Bosh until reaching the ocean.
A old battle was fought here, though having ended long ago its memory still persists long after. Scavengers, and treasure hunters can alway find a leftover piece of war gear if they are willing to dig through the sand.
A heavily trafficked river that is the main source of transportation for the kingdom's imports and exports outside of Bosh.

Settlement
Geography
A sandy area covered with fresh green foliage, that shades the area from the beating sun. The terrain declines below the sea level the further south the river gose, naturally ending once it reaches the sea.
Located between the two main bodies of water in Bosh's domain, The Crystal Sky and Whale Ivory Shores .
During times of rain the river tends to increase in volume, often flooding the nearby areas and causing severe damage to any properties based around the area.
History
The river was originally smaller than what it is today, the eventually expansion of the river came after the Old Kingdom had conquered the valley. The river bed was deepend to allow bigger boats to move through and the banks were permanently widen with retaining walls. To this day you can still see chunks of that architecture along the river.
This allowed for trade amongst the valley, even after the collapse of the Old Kingdom the river became a central part of exportation for Bosh.
The name of the river originates back during the Conquering Horizon in the year 1395 H.A. When the armies of the Old Kingdom (the Empire of Artonnia) made their advance on the valley. Having traded their peaceful methods of bringing in new lands to compliance for an aggressive militaristic approach, the legions of the Old Kingdom were quick to go on the offensive when tribes of humans were found in the area.
They face little resistance as they occupied the primitive settlements and slowly enforced their rule on the valley. It was only when they reached the river that they were faced with a united army of over 400,000 tribal warriors.
With the river in between them the battle opened with a wave of arrows from the tribals raining down onto the armored legionaries of the Old Kingdom. Then the tribals sent in their calivery with a charge. While the tribals had the numbers advantage they failed to beat the Old Kingdom's legion whom at this point were well equipped veterans with experience countering the tactics of the tribals from earlier victories.
By the end of the battle the Old Kingdom had suffered a total of 822 caulties, while the tribals had suffered a estimated 240,000 casualty loss. The bodies of dead tribals were left on the banks of the river while those still alive retreated as the Old Kingdom routed them.
To this day you can search the bank of the river and find remainants from that battle, such as weapons or bones.
