The only Magical ability given to the Elves, it allowed for one short burst of destructive power in their most dire of needs. Modern descendants can no longer use it naturally, however Ellefen can awaken it within them.

When in use, Elven birthmarks will turn a deep black. During recovery, these marks will appear to be burning. They feel that way too.

When used, the user will have almost unlimited God-like power, fueled either by their desire to protect themselves, or others. When the threat has been eliminated, the power will cease, and they will begin the long and painful recovery process.

During recovery, they will appear to have a deadly fever, and their body will usually be permanently affected in some way, although exactly what will happen is unpredictable. If the power was used for selfish reasons, entire body parts may be destroyed or rendered useless, however when used for the sake of others the damage is only aesthetic in nature. In either case, the damage will continue to cause mild pain for the rest of their lives.

It can only be used once by modern Elves. Some early Elves could use it twice or possibly three times, although many would die after the second use.

Ellefen is not subject to this limitation.
