At banks, a certified hemathurge can create new BGC for customers and register to the ledger. The only kind of blood magic allowed.
The currency name: hema? Hemacoin? New meaning to blood sweat and tears.
Cassandra's friend and mentor created a spell to enter your own head to add or remove knowledge. Like the head key from Locke and Key. It used the astral plane and liminal Arts to accomplish this.
It helped Cass to progress from candy striper to head nurse in a couple of months
Trouble is, her friend gained knowledge but stayetd to remove essential parts of herself in her quest to learn all magic.
It tore their relationship apart. As it tore her sanity to shreds. To the point that they had to battle to the death.
L. Being a genius had already planned a contingency plan. A homonculus clone baby. But it failed. Cass vowed to recreate that baby. Which led her to take over a town and get imprisoned by the order of the Bench.
