Magic taught from a book

This magic has a wide variety of uses so every one tends to look different.

Very useful for everyday life. This is the most common type of magic to see and the easiest to learn.

Tends to be directly in the middle of spells not causing harm and not doing any particularly good either.

It only has a handful of magic that could be used for combat or defense, but they're all very difficult to learn and master.

In development

The weakest of all magics, overall, since the majority are used to make daily life easier. But the hardest spells are extremely powerful but are too difficult for most to learn.

Not super respected due to it being magic used for beginners. However, there are higher ranking spells that only have a few people master them due to their difficulty to learn. These people are the ones who are usually respected.

Typically all manner of things, but if one were to just be starting out, it’s important that they tap into their magic potential in the first place. Once they do that, they can then start to use small spells and work their way up to bigger and bigger ones.
