The shape and size of the portal can be influenced with the sigils in the spell. Light passing through the portal is refracted proportional to the distance.

Requirements
Any differences in potential energy of objects moving through the gate must be paid with the spell's energy.
Requires a very strong link to the target. Either a very strong sympathete or a contagion. Highly resistable for an unwilling target.
