Overview
Juron
Earth-like Planet
Thanks to its central position and ideal conditions for human life, Blue Star Research chose this planet early on as its base of operations. A rapidly growing bureaucracy, Juron now hosts the dominate governing body of the Hyperion star system.
Politics, intrigue, and trading favors for power and influence have shaped much of Juron’s society. Over 75% of the planet is covered with man-made structures, from housing to government buildings, and the infrastructure needed to support a population of 550 million. A high-speed surface transit system makes getting from one side of the planet to the other take only a few hours. While not rich in resources itself, money and trade still flows ceaselessly through Juron’s ports, and taxes are collected on the goods to keep the government running.

History
The first human inhabitants arrived by being sent by Blue Star Research to discover the planet. This led to proclaiming the planet as the Blue Star Research base of operations. The 'base of operations' turned out to be the start of the governing body of the entire Hyperion Star System.
The history of Juron starts with Blue Star Research sending people to explore the planet and then those people created the governing system. There needed to be many people to govern the entire star system, so that is why Juron is highly inhabited.
