Overview
Candicorns
The Demigods of Sucreterre.
Looks
All candicorns have a single horn on their head, though the look of this horn varies from candicorn to candicorn.
Their ears are usually long and somewhat droopy with a pointed tip, sometimes there is hair at the end of their ears.
Candicorns all have tails but the length and style of the tail vary greatly.
Candicorns have human female torsos and satyr legs ending in hooves.
Traits
All candicorns have powerful magic. Individual candicorns each have a domain of magic or ability that they specialize in and excel at compared to other candicorns.
While very strong in magic they cannot be everywhere or know everything. They do their best to help Sucreterre as much as possible, but they cannot prevent every catastrophe. There is a difficult balance to what they should or should not do to help and they often debate among themselves about what is acceptable.
Notes
I have been told by Bean not to include too many notes here about candicorns. She fears I will give out information that someone could use against us. I don't disagree, but I think we are fascinating creatures and it would be a shame not to give you readers some interesting tidbits about us.
We are each born in the very center of Sucreterre, on top of the Pure Sugar mountain know as Mother Sugar's Horn. We are born with some knowledge including, the language of Sucreterre, the names of the other candicorns, and our own name as well. Other candicorns also know when a new candicorn is going to be born and as many of us as possible show up for the occasion. We are born not knowing our purpose yet and spend the first hundred or so years exploring our wonderful world of Sucreterre and finding what we believe our purpose to be. As you may have read, mine is to study and document the various creatures of Sucreterre.
It has also been found that the magic on Sucreterre flows from and through the candicorns. I have not studied this much myself, Bean has more information about how this works, but I doubt she would allow me to share that information here anyways. It is also my understanding that many races, especially humans, do not believe the magic is from us. I suppose it is best to let them learn on their own.

Magic
Candicorns each have extremely powerful magic. They can heal great wounds, , and even control the elements. While their powers do have limits there are few, if any, creatures on Sucreterre that could match a candicorn's magical prowess.
