Frosted Felines

Frosted felines have a magically charged bite. The frosted and glazed each have slightly different effects. A frosted feline's bite allows them to control a person or creature for a very short time period. The bite can even be used to control someone about as intelligent as the feline themselves. When bitten, a person will feel an overwhelming urge to do the feline's bidding. This effect does not last much more than a few seconds or minutes. There are rumors of frosted felines training themselves to make their bite have longer lasting effects that supposedly cause long term mental damage to their victims.

Glazed felines have a different bite. Their bite allows them to have only slight control of a creature, but over a long time period, even years. They cannot use their bite to control anything particularly intelligent, however it does allow them to tame many wild or dangerous beasts, if they can get close enough. Their bite allows them to control the emotions more than actions and they use this to train creatures for themselves. Even after the bite's effect wears off the training has usually stuck with the animal.

Most frosted felines have weak magical powers outside their bite. They may be able to make weak sparkly lights or magically move small objects. Some may have naturally stronger abilities. A frosted feline may train in magic to gain power but it takes a great deal of dedication and willpower for one to do so.
