Overview
Selkie
Selkieʼs are adept at walking in "two worlds" as theyʼre able to shift in form from a completely humanoid one, to a completely sea-being one with relative ease. They do, however, need to maintain possession of their magical "skin" which is understandably something they fiercely guard at all times. As most Selkieʼs sea form is that of a seal, they are found primarily within the kingdom of Findiusʼs boarders, as they need the colder waters the winter kingdom provides. Or, at least, used to provide. Usually of the fluvian affinity, lune and ruin are also common. Even creation affinity is not unheard of, though is far rarer. Selkieʼs are adept at keeping their peculiarities to themselves, and so itʼs not entirely clear even just how many of them there actually are. When the winter court was banished, many found themselves having to make tough decisions about what form theyʼd maintain and just where they would go.
Looks
Winter Selkie: A winter selkie is usually picked out of a crowd by their fair skin; the fairest of all winter creatures. However, unlike any other season, winter selkies cannot hide the pattern of their sea creature on their humanoid skin, primarily on their extremities and back. In the midst of other seasonal creatures, selkies will cover up their patterns by any means necessary, often carrying cosmetic charms or potions for an emergency.
