Governments

The kenku live in flocks with no clear leader; these are collective lead. The picking-order within flocks is determined by games of 'chicken'. Flocks may disperse across wide areas but come together in times of danger to protect one another, or for significant events, such as mourning a loss. Kenku flocks will often gravitate to areas with a source of food, shiny treasures, or income; once they are settled somewhere it can be hard to convince them to leave. A flock of kenku spread across a city can spread a message very quickly.

Traditions

• Kenku like to live in towers and other tall structures; they may seek out towering ruins or cities to live in. Their light weight allows them to live in rickety structures.
• Kenku name themselves after a variety of noises. Those who wish to appear intimidating may choose sounds made by weapons, those who live in cities may adopt noises they hear such as animal call. Some may adopt noises made as part of their craft. Other races will refer to them with words describing this noise.
