Overview
Looks
The average fairies body is slim or toned with muscles, as carrying around heavy wings can help with keeping the body fit.
It all depends on the region.
Some fairies can be pale, some dark-skinned, some with deep sea colors, and others with skin that seems to sparkle like crystals under the sun's light.
1,70m to 2m
60kg to 90kg
The fairies have horns and wings, both are unique to faerie's region. The horns and wings mimic that of animals that live in their region.
General Differences
-
Fotia (Fire) fairies have long charcoal black horns with scaly dragon wings. -
Nero (Water) fairies have slim wavy horns that look like the whiskers of a catfish. Wings that mimic the fins of a fish. Not very good for flying, but great for swimming. -
Terra (Earth) fairies have long stag beetle horns and beetle wings that have a strong shell on top of their silky wings. -
Botanos (Plant) fairies have fluffy moth antennae for horns and wings like moths. Or slim antennae and smooth colorful wings like butterflies. -
Aero (Air) fairies have two feathery crests on their heads and long and large wings that look like the wings of a bird. -
Lumen (Light) fairies have sparkling, almost crystalline wings that shine wherever there is light. They have two pairs of horns around their head that make it hard for hair decorations. -
Glacio (Ice) fairies have light silky transparent wings that are more effective for gliding like a snowflake than flying. They also have two large antlers on their head.
Ethnicities can be identified from skin tones, to eye colors, to wing shape and even horn colors. These usually depend on regions.
For example: Fairies from Geiru, tend to have lighter skin, almost clear sky-blue, monolid eyes and black wood pigeon like wings. But fairies from Vaay tend to have peacock like wings, darker skin, deeper sky-blue eyes.
Both could be classified as Aero fairies, but they both have individual cultures.
It depends on their region's culture and climate.
Traits
Faerie have high anima efficiency, meaning that they don't need a casting circle or catalyst to use magic. While elves can only manipulate what is already there, Faerie can summon any of the 7 elements.
Their wings and horns are their primary source of their anima efficiency.
- Take away their horns and they lose a significant amount of their anima efficiency.
- Take away their wings and they lose their ability to fly and a significant amount of their anima efficiency.
- Take away both and they're a human with pointy ears. Weaker than an elf and just as strong as a human.
Anima Burnout is the most common condition that Faerie can face. (Mostly the over confident ones)
Fae live 100 - 120 years
They fully mature at 30
Culture
Matriarchal
Unity of wings is the fairy marriage ceremony
