Pytian Cult

The Imp version of Sky Maiden worship.

The Sky Maiden is believed to have created the world, and during the creation was escorting evil itself out of the world in a pail. Droplets spilled from the pail and hit the world below, introducing evil in the form of the Elves to the world - yet also teaching the Sky Maiden that her creation was better when balanced with evil. Her followers use the departure of the Sky Maiden from her creation as the start of their calendar.

The Impish Cult places emphasis on procreation and achieving happiness. Aside from being the leader of the nation, the Lnytoqi also leads marriage rituals. They also see the Sky Maiden as having a different form, one more in accordance with their own appearance.

Worship occurs in the home, generally. There is a single temple, known simply as the Temple, where marriage rituals take place.

The act of mating is believed to be a form of worship.

Followers must do their best to procreate, working against the low fertility of Imps.

The marriage ritual, where two Imps are assigned as mates, features them mating for the first time on the altar at the Temple, in front of all who wish to attend.
