He is also referred to as the God of Metalic Dragons or the Lord of the North Wind.

60000 years ago, in the age of Gods and Dragons when the small folk were just an inkling a cataclysmic war that overtook the world, what started it has been lost to time, it may have been a game of chance between the gods, a bet, a dare, lovers quarell, an ethical quandry these are the matters of the gods. But what it did was terrible. It set in motion the fate of the world and of you and I. The war sundered the lands, tearing some continents apart and crashing others together with such forces that that the world rumbled for millenia. It Sent mountains into the sky, making volcanos erupt. Most importantly gods were killed and so were dragons ...so many dragons. But gods were born too! Till this time, Dragons metalic and chromatic were thought of as kin but some gods turned the Chromatics against the Metalics, showing them that compared to their metalic kin they had a much shorter life span. They cast them against each other using them as a weapon of war, indiscriminate killing machines, which led to an eventual seperation in the morality between the races that is still there today.

This war cntinued till almost all of the dragons were thought destroyed. The population was dwindled down to a handful of each type and the strongest of these types met and fought a battle that the gods marveled in. The two mighty ancient dragons battled for a close to a year straight without rest. The gathered gods came and went but still the two battled, and in honor of their feat a truce was agreed upon and divinity was granted to the two sworn enemies, Bahumet and Tiamat.
