Overview
Cult of Leviathon
A rare, somewhat outlawed religion run by cults who see to carve the world in the eyes of Leviathon, the 4th born.
The forbidden faith.
History
After the fall of the empire of Zion, many people who originally believed in the faith of Galenta, faith of Joasis, and other tribal faiths needed someone to go to in their time of need. Whilst most of them rekindled their faith, a few of them found word of the lost 4th born and his ideals. They all then decided to try and aid his vision in making the world a 'better place'. A majority of people in this faith are Vetuno-kin.
Beliefs
Leviathon goes by 5 basic rules:
- Death to those who seek only death.
- Don't let higher ups rule your lives completely.
- No one is an object, no one has a price.
- All races are equal.
- Never enforce my rule.
Not many prophecies are known, but one states that Leviathon will always be around, visiting those who are in the most desperate need of aid.
Not many exists, but some scattered strongholds exist around the world. Mostly in Aelanu.
People of this faith are obligated to serve Leviathon however the please. Some can even not do anything but pledge to be his follower.
Leviathon's vision of paradise is one without gods pulling on the strings of mortals, telling and enforcing them to do as they ask.
Traditions
A pledge to a shrine of Leviathon is all that is needed.
Sacrifices of those who have seriously wronged as well as funerals.
None.
