3 Kings and 2 other Kuvan leaders plan a secret raid of the Black Stone Kuvan to find the best places to strike, where the most damage could be done and debilitate the Kuvan.
They find that most of the land is used for prison-like camps, workers and building large scale weapons.
They move together through the compound when one leader senses a telepathic conversation - Ree'sa - and they move to that location. Once there, they see 20 or so prisoners, mainly women and Sor'Ryn notices/smells the woman who helped him escape.
Fal'Lyn is badly injured; she was discovered to be the one who helped Sor'Ryn and has been tortured for weeks - wanting any information about Sor'Ryn.
He initially wants to leave her but the women explain that they are all to be executed in days. The leaders decide to take the women and make it seem as if the guards helped them escaped.
