The men who live here are generally Progressivists and proto-feminists.
Essentially a hippie commune.
Although found within the Gerudo country, the town is subject to Royal law due to being populated mostly by Hylians who received funding from the Kingdom since male, non-Gerudo aren't allowed Gerudo citizenship. However, they taxes that they pay are split between Gerudo and Hyrule.
History
15 E.C.
The village was founded by a group of men married of Gerudo who have been flocking back to the desert in droves after the recent uptick in kidnappings and abuse of the women. The men decided that they wanted to be as close as possible to their wives, so they started this little village in the desert by creating a lake from the natural underground spring found just across from the stable.
