History
Alpha Maelstrom is a story centered around multiple universes, as well as multiple planets within the universe. Many eons ago, the developers of a game discovered a mysterious code during the research of their game. They began to explore this new code and eventually found a way into an alternate universe.
They found that this universe was in quite the trouble for multiple reasonings with the root cause being a two-sided, multi-dimensional god called the Rift Beast. Each side of the beast represents "Chaos" and "Order".
They set up several centers on planets in order to provide help, wherever was asked of them. They also colonized several, empty-but-habitable planets in order to help expand their abilities for helping.
Amongst those who they have helped were the Prugorems. Once a race called the Crystalline, a mutation of the Gorrota that were abused and threatened into hiding.
Part of the Crystalline stayed behind and inhabited a hidden grove within their home planet, however half of them sought the help of the Developers, who provided them with a ship where they went off on a mission and eventually settled on the planet Izlumina.
Hundreds of years pass by and the Crystalline quickly adapted to their planet, introducing a 2nd mutation of the Gorrota race.
The developers, within this time (plus some) developed a "software" that would transport people into this new universe, called it a virtual reality game and released it exclusively(at first) to a school called Beadora so as to help reach missions while scientists and coders and focus on tasks more fitting of their skills.
