Created originally by Hela and Enaid, this world was originally inhabited by their magically powerful creations. However, when the inhabitants realized that the eventual reunion of the two primordial forces would destroy their world, fifty of the strongest mages banded together to permanently separate them. They succeeded, at the cost of 41 of their numbers. The nine remaining became incredibly powerful, and eventually ascended to become God's in their own right. Due to backlash from the Event, magic began to fade in strength from the world. Today, while there is nobody without magic of some kind, it takes years of relentless training to gain strength. Usually the strongest mages are those who have been patroned by a God.
