In a world long forgotten. Magic and mystery prospers. But along with it comes an empire that suppresses the very thing that makes everyone unique their magic.

The land was originally divided between nine tribes: the Ordinarius, the Albis, the Colosseus, the Farrows, the Angelus, the Daemons, the Lupus, the Uguibus, and the Orcs. There has been hatred and cruelty between them all, yet there has been no wars for at least thousands of years. An unexpected evil, then rose to threaten all of the tribes. They all banded together to vanquish. Each tribe sent their elitist magicians and warriors to the central tribe, Ordinarius. This group of elitists became the famous Elite Nine. Together the group single-handedly vanquished the evil. Afterwards, they came together to create a new government with a central capital and eight branches of cities. The leader of the Elite Nine became the beginning of the royal family line. Her name was Emma the Divine. Other than her status and name, not much about her has remained throughout history. A few decades went by and the nation was on the verge of civil war. The hatred and cruelty had returned to the people. In a last stitch effort to prevent the civil war, the head of the royal family passed a decree outlawing the use of magic. The thought was that if there was no practice of the main weapon at the time it would prevent clash. And this worked to a degree. There was no war or physical violence. However, the hatred and cruelty still remained. Several milliniums passed, and the country was on the verge of civil war once again. This time it was for a different reason. The people of the nation wanted their magic back.

Basic Earth laws unless said other wise by specific magics such as light magics.

Technology is not as advanced as our own. They do not posses the understanding to harness electricity. They do have plumbing but no water heating.

Magics correspond with both personality and elements. Ones magics are reflected through the element that they embody. The different elements are water, earth, darkness, body, fire, lightning, light, and mind. Water magics consist of altering and maneuvering the different phases of water. However, most can only weaponize water in its liquid state. Earth magics consist of either altering ground formation of rock or controlling plants; few have mastered both. Darkness magics allows for the user to taint or darken an individuals aura; temporarily leaving the individual without magical power. The longest case for even the strongest of dark magic users is a week. Body magic allows for an individual to maximize their physical strength, speed and stamina by taking amounts from others. Fire magics allow an individual to bend and weaponize fire even more so. The most powerful of fire magic users can eat fire to regain magical strength or even increase it. Lightning magics can either allow the user to control electrical storms or produce their own electricity to control. Their own lightning cannot be controlled by other lightning magic users. Light magics is the only magic immune to dark magic. They can bend light. Specific light can heal while other light can be weaponized. Mind magic is used to strengthen their mental brain capacity and intelligence. They also posses both telepathy and telekinesis since they lack physical strength they are immune to the leaching ability of body magic.
