Waturuduin is a strange river, forming the border around the entirety of the Woods, technically making the entire forest and island. It is said that if you try to wade your way through it, you'll be sucked beneath the currents. No one has ever found out why, or how. Speculation is mermaids or water nymphs. The appearance of the water, however, is a milky white, it's not like your normal water, and if you're unlucky enough, you may catch a glimpse of pink, or black even.

Ravens are one of the few creatures of the Woods that aren't necessarily trying to kill you but should you run into one and hear it's caw. It is suggested then and there, that you do not continue onward. Why? No one's lived to tell the tale. Speculation circles that the Ravens are the Satyrs' warning system, that 'Hey! You're moving into our territory, if you don't turn back now, we're gonna eat cha!' Other believe that witches reside in the Woods.
-=- πππ±πΆπ―π° -=-
Satyrs are believed to nothing but myths, folktale told to children to keep them from wandering into the Woods. It is believed, however, that no one has seen these creatures because they reside in the Heart, of the Woods. Folktales speak that such beings stand Guardian over one of the many artifacts lost to time. And those who have seen such creatures, have died before they could make it back home to tell the tale.

Azuretide - Azuretide is a small fishing community just off of the coast of (a place, TBD). It is known for its, well.. its fish, and someone named Aurelias Silverhook. He was born here, and is the inventor of an efficient fishing net that changed the tides of fishing forever. So yeah.
Alsaanas - Alsaanas is a large city dedicated to knowledge. More importantly of the arcane. Arcane, in this arCASE, meaning not as known.. Known by few. The secrets, and wonders of multitudes of magics.. Mythical creatures.. These are only a couple of the things the scholars of Alsaanas are attempting to uncover.. But keep in mind. Though the city is dedicated to solving these mysteries.. It doesn't mean the city doesn't have its own share.
(TBD) - A town overrun by thieves. (let me sleep)
The creatures of Urea are polytheistic, believing in many Gods and Goddesses. Each of which have their own powers and roles that have been fabled to have been the building blocks of the planet.
Religious practices often vary between gods. Some "approve" of one way, while others "approve" of another. Sacrifices and rituals are not unheard of, but neither are festivals and ceremonies.
Rules
6 Magical Artifacts remain on Urea, hidden and strewn away to keep away from dangerous hands. If handled improperly, the consequences could prove catastrophic..
Light - One of the more powerful Artifacts, the Light variant takes the form of a golden ring. Rutilated quartz taking the shape of a square is settled on the top, attached to the band itself by jeweler expertise and golden filigree. Like its other half, it carries an aura as well. Though.. This one is more tranquil, peaceful. Warm, and welcoming.
Dark - One of the.. more powerful.. Artifacts, the Dark variant takes the form of a black-bladed dagger whose curvature resembles that of the crescent moon. Its handle is a silver, decorated with ornate patterns and deep purple gemstones. It carries a very tantalizing aura. An aura that one should be extremely cautious around, unless they wish to succumb to the whispers. The darkness. Their own desires..
Fire - One of the four main Artifacts, the Fire variant takes the form of a simple necklace. A golden chain, with an oval-shaped ruby at the end. An ever-burning flame is present within, fluctuating and changing with the wearer's current emotion.
Earth - One of the four main Artifacts, the Earth variant takes the form of twin cestuses. Cestuses are battle gloves, made from strips of leather. These are filled with iron plates, and reach down to the elbow to assist in guarding heavier blows.
Water - One of the four main Artifacts, the Water variant takes the form of a scepter. The tip is that of a large cerulean gem, shaped like a teardrop. Silver talon-like members seem to stab into it, holding it in place. The handle(?) itself is made of a white material that bears somewhat of a resemblance to gray moonstone.
Air - One of the four main Artifacts, the Air variant takes the form of a pair of feathered earrings. The feathers are said to have come from the plumage of a feathered dragon. With their unique, sought-after color, the stories may be true.
