Governments from all over the globe made it possible to become immortal and increase your abilities. At the first stage of testing people revolted against the government because of the unnatural side affects of the serum, This resulted in a war that left more than half the planet unlivable. The people who revolted became known as Citizens and the other half Government. Citizens were forced to live in the barren land while Government rebuilt and lived in luxury. The original immortals became deadly assassins designed to kill anybody who cause problems for the new system of the government.
