It is quite like our earth but there is magic. Fairy magic, Fire magic, Crystal magic, Water magic, Shadow magic and, Earth magic. There are phones and modern tech. The whole world is based around the magic with a continent for every magic type. The people of a continent are mixed and always were. The continents have environments that match. The fiery, desert covered continent matches with Fire magic and so on. There is a tropical continent (water), one is mountainous (earth), one with crystal structures all over (crystal), one is dark and gloomy with many caves (shadow), and one is a bright continent with open fields and many flowers (fairy). Each magic type thrives on it's continent.

At the beginning of the universe there were 12 people. Each had to do a task for 6 gods. They were paired and sent off on their quests, when they returned the gods gave them magic, each pair with a different kind than the other. But two of the women each had one child during the quest, these children had no magic.
