In the Lunar Fields, there is a pantheon made up of 12 Gods that all individually control various realms and joint control a singular realm: the mortal realm, which consists of a planet named Teren. On this planet, there are several "doors" to the other realms controlled by the Gods. For eons the Gods could not walk on the mortal realm without being summoned or in mortal form, but after the Gods were attacked by mortals the realms shifted to combine together.

Dark fantasy

The Lunar Fields originated from the creation of the twin deities, Carrion and Vivus. Carrion was created a few seconds before Vivius. Carrion is the Goddess of Death and Despair and her twin brother Vivius is her opposite, who is the God of Life and Hope.

The history of the universe started after the creation of Carrion and Vivus, which spurred the creation of the Realm of Death and the Light Realm. Carrion and Vivus created the Wheel of Balance together, which helped create the rule of life and death: one cannot exist without the other, with death comes life and with life comes death.

After the Wheel was created, Carrion went into a deep slumber within her realm, where her sleep caused another God to be created: Somni, the God of Sleep and Mind. Somni's creation brought about another realm, the Fae Realm or Feywilds. He watched over Carrion as she slept and brought her peaceful dreams, where he witnessed her dream of wonderful creatures that he would later enlist the help of Vivus to create for her. Deep within the Feywilds, another Goddess was born from the forest, Saganie the Goddess of the Forest and Happiness.

Vivus' Realm was quiet for a long time and his anger began to fester as Somni and Saganie gathered around Carrion's sleeping body. His anger grew to jealousy and he created the sibling deities; Bevreli, Goddess of Beauty and Peace and Boarus, God of the Hunt and Anger. These two gods would help maintain the beauty of the Light Realm and serve Vivus. As the siblings were working one day, Boarus got a glimpse of Saganie down in the Feywilds and fell in love with the Forest Goddess. He could not make contact with her as he and his sister were not allowed to leave the Light Realm or go near the other gods by demand of Vivus. A couple eons after the creation of the siblings, another god was born; this god, Wicker, the God of Fire and Blacksmiths was born from the eternal fire that lit the realms and gave them warmth. The eternal fire was slowly turned into another realm, the Realm of Fire.

The pantheon and realms slowly grew after two realms appeared, the Water Realm and the Realm of Magick. From the Water Realm came Sefom, god of the Ocean and Storms bringing lightning and water with him. Within the Realm of Magick lived Avol, God of Magick and Wisdom, who brewed potions and created spells. In the inbetween of realms came a traveler, Crues, the God of Travel and Merchants, who would help create new paths between realms to connect the gods together. Another deity was born in the Feywilds, a product of the love between Boarus and Saganie, the goddess Florian, Goddess of Farmlands and Animals.

Eons passed again and the gods settled into a peace in their own realms, all while Somni still watched over Carrion's sleeping figure. Deep in the darkness beneath the Realm of Death, a chill creeped out and into the souls of the gods. Another had crawled out of the darkness, a being made from it. Demnyov, the God of Darkness and Demons had awoken from underneath the Realm of Death, bringing with him another and final realm, the Demon Realm. With his darkness spreading through the other gods' realm, it woke Carrion with a terrible nightmare where she fought against him and subdued him, casting him back down into the darkness and caging him within his own realm.

The Gods were severely weakened from their battle against Demnyov and agreed that they needed to regain their souls' strengths and strengthen them in case Demnyov ever broke out of his cage. The Gods brought their powers together to create another realm, a realm full of mortals who could do their bidding and strengthen them. The Mortal Realm was created and within it the planet Teren.

The Laws of Physics in the Mortal Realm are the same as they are in our own universe/planet. However, they are different in the various other realms. The closest to being the same is the Feywilds, though gravity is a bit different as things are lighter.

The Magic System is the standard magic system of the Forgotten Realms.

Technology evolved at the same rate as our own in our universe, though in current time period it is currently the Victorian Era.
