Gia is a planet inhabited by strange creatures and humans alike with multiple gods influences turning the tides of history. Each person is born under a certain sign through blood and can if taught correctly learn that signs magical gifts. The era is set in an early steampunk time with very little transportation outside of boats. All signs live in different societies that live amongst or against themselves in war or harmony

During the First Cycle, 8 Signs existed on Gia and were hostile towards each other. Depending on which element a Sign would have would classify which god they worshipped and what lifestyle they would take upon. For example, Taurus was built to protect the land and Till and plant seeds for the crops spread all over the farms while Capricorn was Built to tend to the houses and families and keep order when food was brought into homes. The Earth signs are actually the only example of Signs working together. Every other sign at this time were separated and Rivals even.
It was during the second cycle that the signs understood they needed to work together. Even if the reason was for war. The second cycle for this reason was nicknamed the "War Cycle," since 5 wars started and ended around the globe all at this time. At the same time the fixed signs were created. These signs were Created by mortals and approved by the gods instead of the original signs Created entirely by the gods. These signs included Leo, Virgo, Libra, and Scorpio. Each Changed the communities of their respective signs forever.

The Third Cycle then begins, only to bring upon the most evil doings of the gods. This cycle is commonly known as the cycle of betrayal. The God Aries revealed himself to the people of Aspída tou krioú (Old fire Kingdom), only to set off the volcano the city was built around and send his subjects to hades. The city would have been lost and the fire signs destroyed if it hadn’t of been for the man Hephaestus. The leader of the Mages under the newly formed Leo sign, Hephaestus used all of his knowledge to sacrifice his physical form in order to solidify the tide of Magma Spewing from the volcano, thus putting the volcano at rest. He still stands in the middle of the basin to this day solidified in the same spot from when he stopped the eruption. His spirit form still lives on, empowering his Successors and helping any that he can. Hephaestus is not a Divine god, but rather is an artificial Deity that watches over his people with wisdom and caring. With the fire signs in turmoil Libra decided to take action before another war was started. They revealed their plan that was in production for the whole 2nd cycle. Libra’s plan was to launch a giant city in the sky and unite the Separated signs under one large kingdom so that all Signs could see unity and happiness once more. Air signs were more then happy to agree, and fire signs were not far behind with their once great nation in Turmoil and destruction from Aries betrayal. Earth sign were reluctant but eventually, all agreed. Although Capricorn only agreed to the treaty because of its sudden Plague that damaged their lands. The Capricorn were angry that they must give up Gia worship in order to join the kingdom. But for their people, The Council of The Agróktima agreed to the terms. Water signs on the other hand all refused and for all different reasons. Cancer because of its distrust of the flying cities true potential at the time, saying it was “a weapon of mass destruction that will be used as an iron fist on its people and foes.” Even though Libra assured this was not true. Cancer Turned their offer down and created its own country which allied with the Zodiac Kingdom. Scorpio because they had were never invited due to their violent and manipulative behavior to the other signs. And lastly, Pisces simply said they would like to remain independent because being independent means thy never have to be at war and can sell to any party despite alliances and wars. Therefore the Water signs went on to make their own Countries that were allied with the Zodiac Kingdom. By the end of the Cycle dawned a golden age for all signs.

The Fourth Cycle begins, Bringing an unfortunate end towards the Zodiac Kingdom. The golden age ended about halfway through the fourth era when to many strange attacks by the Capricorn to the other signs started occurring. The fire kingdom traced the attacks back to them immediately and threatened to destroy all that they held dear. But the Capricorn stayed behind the treaty as a diplomatic shield. The capricorn continued provoking until the Kingdom of Lyon couldn't take it anymore. They seceded from the Zodiac Kingdom treaty and gave new life to a war between Gia and Fire that the world had seen a million times over. Capricorn tried to defend itself with the treaty but Libra cut them off from it. Saying that it was their war that they had provoked. Thus all the other signs watched as two kingdoms went head to head yet again. The Zodiac Kingdoms treaty eventually fell apart entirely and people went back to their respective Kingdoms and holds. The end of the fourth cycle is where we stand today.
