Witlocks are the strongest form of witches. They're witches that let their specific type of magic overtake their entire being. Witlocks are extremely rare and are normally executed if they're deemed a danger. Safe or "docile" Witlocks are normally just written about as near mythical creatures.
There's little information on Witlocks.

Witches, while being extremely human-like, are not considered humans for the most part. This is largely due to more powerful witches being able to shift their form and the objects around them.
Witches are always born with natural magical power, and eventually grow to have a specific magic they're skilled at. Most witches are homeschool by their parents but there are few private institutions that teach magic alongside normal teachings.

Spirits, also commonly mistaken as Nymphs or Fairies, are dead witches. Spirits are only created if the witch wishes to live in a different form after death. It's fairly rare due to the physical changes and possible negative effects. Spirits are humanoid creatures, with features that match what the witch was proud of most. This is how spirits are categorized.
(I.E. if a witch was proud of their appearance then they're be reformed into a cat-like being with mirror-like fur, hair, and even skin. They'd be known as Mirror Spirits)

Humans are one of the few species on Pangaea that cannot use magic to its full use. At most, humans use short-lived and small spells as novelty and for simple tasks.

Familiars are shape-shifting beings that are normally born when a witch finds their natural talent in a specific magic. These creatures are born to watch over and accompany the witch, and rare familiars can switch between two forms. Familiar forms can range from small mice all the way to large moose.
