When time was still new, nothing existed but three truths. Light, Dark, and Chaos. Chaos was the first to learn of sentience, thought, and form. It formed itself into a might beast with great wings. The two other truths eventually took form as the Goddess of Light and the God of Darkness. They were in love, as one could not exist without the other. The true power and warmth they had led to all creation. (Similar to Greek mythology) They had children in sets, One of which being the mortal realm and all life in it, another being the six watchers of the mortals and the elements tied to them. Another was the unshackled, beings of equal affinity of light and darkness within them. They use both the light and dark and therefore not bound to one side. All was well until the two greater gods' love for each other began to dwindle, and they started to realize how much they hated each other. They both retreated to there homelands, heartbroken. While the Light mourned and eventually learned to move past it, the Dark's once warm heart ran cold, then died. The dark then declared eternal war on the light, fixated on destroying it and his love. But it is said, that about every million years or so, the mother and the father remember the love they once had for each other, only for a moment, and another unshackled is born into mortal creation.

When the mortal universe was formed, the first race of beings to evolve from the star dust was the Ancients. No one knows for sure how many their were, but each Ancient was extremely powerful, so powerful in fact that they shaped the very universe. From planets to suns to galaxies to entire species they molded it in their own image. along with these beings, there were 22 spiritual weapons, 11 emitting a warm, tranquil aura, while the other 11 radiated something far more sinister. The leader of all the Ancients, Talagon, locked away the evil 11 while gave the other set to the Ancients to use to spread peace throughout their domain. Talagon was one of the first wave of Ancients and one of the most powerful. He was the most respected and loved by all the Ancients, except for a fellow first wave, Borad. Borad was jealous of Talagon's power and status. He killed Talagon and ate him to absorb his strength. Through this act of pure malice and evil, the God of Darkness was able to spread influence in Borad. Borad learned to control darkness and how to let it enter this realm. he then was driven mad with power, wanting it all, to become something higher then the top. So he then waged war on all the Ancients and there children, the mortals. He undid the lock on the evil set of weapons, melted them down and reforged it into one tool of ultimate destruction, and locked away the weapons of peace. He sent his legions of darkness to kill the mortals and create heartless, husks with no souls, to further expand his armies and subjugate everything. Borad had conquered nearly everything,and the disorganized, quarrelsome ancients could not resist his might. from the hoplessness came an answer to the tyranny and destruction that was Borad, a third wave Ancient, Alkane. alkane being of a later bloodline was not as powerful as the other ancients, but his pure might reforged himself into what the races needed most, a leader. With a voice of booming thunder and a mid as keen as the gods themselves he rallied the last and turned a massacre into a war. There the last stand with every Ancient aligned against Borad, to fight along side the last free mortal race. Borad sent everything. All his forces, everything he could muster, but the last of the free remained outside his grasp. Then, a very special mortal died. But he did not die from war or famine, he simply died of old age. Because he died of natural cause, in peace, light was able to enter the mortal's plain. Alkane then understood what these two powers were. They were light, and darkness. Two sides of the same coin, good and evil. This whole time the Ancients were trying to summon Borads dark forces to fight for them but instead they summond the light, and the tide of war dramatically shifted. The weapons of light freed themselves and choose Ancients to weild them, with Alkane, a lowly third wave, leading them all. Borad's forces dwindled, uprisings from all the mortal worlds banishing the darkness with the light. The 11 ancients using the weapons of light destroyed Borads weapon, dissipating back to the original 11. They then threw Borad into the pit of creation, a realm of pure unbridled chaos, where not even an Ancient could survive. The war was over. Darkness and Light have become balanced, with minor struggles in between. The Ancients then separated themselves from their mortal children, realizing that they would be putting them in danger if they stayed. The Ancients lived out there days on a single planet, lost in the expanse of the universe. All except for Alkane. He could not bear to abandon his children, his only species, his greatest creation. He was the last Ancient to die, and he dedicated into his subjects and into the cosmos. Alkane's children, the Kelphanes, then split into two sub species factions, the Sayians and Kaltics, and left their home world, now their creators resting place.
