The A-VSW-HF Rapid Tropic Heavy Fighter was a development onto the existing A-VSW-B Rapid Thunder Bomber.
The Tropic was designed around a concept of long-range air superiority. Using powerful RADAR, long range air to air missiles, and tough countermeasures, the Tropic was designed to tactically deny enemy support elements, like Tankers, AWACS, and command and control aircraft.
These aircraft have less manuevability and larger radar cross sections than smaller fighters
